The Standard C-58 is a portable almode-radio for 144Mc. It works on FM, SSB and CW. A similar radio built in the same time is the YAESU FT-290. Also the STANDARD C-58 has two connector-bases for antenna. One on the backside ( PL-jack = UHF-jack ) and one BNC-jack on the frontside.
